One price, no ladder
The Whop listing shows a single membership at $12 a month. No weekly option, no annual plan, no lifetime tier and no premium upsell.
That is worth saying plainly because it is rare. Plenty of communities run four or five options where the headline price is the worst value and the real cost only appears once you open the plan picker. Here there is nothing behind the button.
One plan, $12 a month.
Get accessAbout the struck-through $15
The listing shows $15 struck through, $12 charged, with a “Save 20%” badge.
We are reporting that as the current price rather than as a countdown. We have no way to verify that $15 was ever the standing rate or that the $12 is time-limited, and we are not going to manufacture urgency out of a badge. Treat $12 as the price.
What it costs over time
| Period | Cost |
|---|---|
| One month | $12 |
| Three months | $36 |
| Six months | $72 |
| Twelve months | $144 |
No discount accrues for staying, so a year is simply twelve payments. The upside is that nothing locks you in and there is no large commitment to regret.
Putting $144 in hobby terms
The useful comparison is not other subscriptions, it is other things you spend on cards.
- Roughly one mid-grade card.
- Roughly a single grading submission once you add shipping and insurance both ways.
- Less than the spread you can lose on one badly timed sale.
Against those, the membership is a rounding error for anyone transacting regularly. For someone who is not transacting at all, it is $144 for a chat room — see our worth-it page for where that line sits.
What the fee does not include
- No free trial is advertised on the listing.
- No published refund policy — at $12 the exposure is small, but treat each payment as committed.
- No escrow, no guarantee fund and no insurance on member-to-member deals.
- No cards, obviously. You still pay for everything you buy.
